Julien is a fully bilingual lawyer, litigator, and adjudicator with more than 15 years of diverse legal experience.

He brings a balanced and analytical perspective to each investigation, driven by a genuine passion for helping clients navigate conflict through fair and objective processes.

Julien has served in both investigative and adjudicative capacities, conducting interviews, evaluating evidence, and making factual and legal determinations. He has developed resources and training to support self-represented litigants, as well as materials to help employers prevent workplace sexual harassment. His expertise is grounded in his experience across multiple forums where fairness, evidence, and due process are paramount.

Background

For nearly a decade, Julien served as litigation counsel with the Federal Department of Justice, managing cases of varying complexity for major government departments. He currently serves as an adjudicator with the Nova Scotia Small Claims Court, where he conducts hearings, determines facts, and issues reasoned decisions. His experience across both advocacy and adjudication informs his thorough and impartial investigative style

With everything in place, the investigation begins. You’ll receive regular status updates throughout the process. At conclusion, we deliver a clear, peer reviewed, comprehensive report including findings, analysis, and—when appropriate—recommendations.
