He also has experience with private sector employers in manufacturing, financial services, and other industries. An investigator since 2006, Nick has completed more than 150 workplace investigations.

He is recognized for building rapport with interviewees, creating a safe and comfortable interview environment, and producing accessible reports with actionable recommendations.

Background

Nick held senior HR leadership positions before becoming a full-time workplace investigator. From 2010–2019, he served as HR Consultant and Human Rights Officer at Fleming College, managing harassment and human rights issues and conducting investigations involving faculty, staff, students, and the broader community. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of HR for Canada at a multinational service organization (2003–2010) and has worked in HR leadership since 1998. He was drawn to investigations by his natural curiosity about interpersonal issues and his commitment to supporting people through conflict.
