Background

Robyn was drawn to workplace investigations through her passion for supporting individuals during times of crisis and her interest in professional ethics and organizational change. She previously served as a staff lawyer with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, where she resolved concerns related to lawyer conduct. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate lawyer at Resolute Legal and contributed to the North Preston Land Pro Bono Initiative. Robyn continues to devote part of her practice to pro bono work and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Afterwords Literary Festival in Halifax.

We prepare a Terms of Reference and Agreement outlining our mutual roles and commitments. After approval, we schedule a kickoff meeting to confirm details and coordinate communications to the parties and relevant stakeholders.

04 Investigation

With everything in place, the investigation begins. You’ll receive regular status updates throughout the process. At conclusion, we deliver a clear, peer reviewed, comprehensive report including findings, analysis, and—when appropriate—recommendations.
